SoniK Run
SoniK Run
SoniK Run is a fast runner starring Sonic and his friends, with the action centered on moving forward, avoiding hazards, and reacting quickly to the route ahead. The pace makes early recognition more important than complicated controls.
Reading the course
Mouse or touch input handles play, so the main skill is timing your actions as obstacles appear. The farther a run goes, the more useful it becomes to watch the next section instead of staring at the character.
When several hazards arrive close together, one well-timed action is safer than a string of rushed inputs.
Keeping a run alive
- React to the upcoming obstacle, not the one you already passed
- Use a consistent rhythm through easier sections
- Leave yourself room to recover after a late move
SoniK Run keeps the controls light and puts the challenge into maintaining that rhythm as the course speeds up.
